Reservation Policy for Large Groups – The River
To ensure the best experience for all guests and the efficient management of restaurant capacity, reservations for groups of more than 6 guests are subject to mandatory confirmation by the restaurant team.
Submitting a reservation through our online booking system and receiving an automated confirmation email does not constitute a final confirmation for bookings of more than 6 guests. In such cases, the customer will be contacted using the details provided at the time of booking in order to validate and confirm the reservation.
If the restaurant is unable to reach the customer after several reasonable contact attempts, the reservation may be considered unconfirmed and will remain subject to availability upon arrival.
The restaurant reserves the right to release the reserved table if confirmation cannot be obtained or if guests fail to arrive within the 15-minute grace period following the scheduled reservation time. In such circumstances, the table may be reassigned to guests on the waiting list or to walk-in customers.
This policy is intended to reduce no-shows, ensure fair access to reservations for all guests, and prevent unnecessary loss of table availability and revenue.
By making a reservation, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Reservation Policy.
